1.1 Educational Products. STEMKids provides educational STEM learning aids, project kits and model-building activities designed to support learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our products are supplied as educational kits requiring assembly by the user and are not sold as finished toys or toys.
Many products contain electronic components, mechanical parts, batteries and small parts. The assembly process forms part of the educational learning experience. For further information please see section 6 – Safety, below.
1.2 Eligibility. By using our website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
1.3 Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Subscription and Orders
2.1. Subscription Plans: We offer various subscription plans, including monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions. Detailed information about each plan is available on our website.
2.2. Ordering: By placing an order, you agree to purchase the selected products or subscriptions subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us.
2.3. Billing: Subscription fees and other charges will be billed to your provided payment method. You authorise us to charge all fees to your payment method.
2.4. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your online account. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. If you do not cancel your subscription it will auto-renew at the end of your current billing cycle.
2.5 Product Variations. From time to time, STEMKids may substitute, modify or replace projects, components, colours or materials due to product improvements, supplier availability or other operational requirements. Any substitutions will be of comparable educational value and purpose.
2.6 Subscription Deliveries. Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details remain accurate and up to date. STEMKids is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect addresses supplied by the customer.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1. Shipping: We offer free shipping on all subscription plans. For all other products, we provide free shipping on purchases over £50. This shipping method is standard shipping, using Royal Mail, Yodal or Evri standard processing times. Express post is available for an additional charge.
3.2. Delivery: We aim to deliver your products within the estimated delivery times. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any delays beyond our control.
4. Returns and Refunds
4.1. Satisfaction Guarantee: If a product arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to request an exchange or return and refund.
4.2. Returns: The product must be in its original condition. We will provide instructions for returning the product. Returns will be at your own expense.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. Ownership: All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
5.2. Use of Content: You may use our website and services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

5.4 Personal Use. Products supplied through STEMKids subscriptions are intended for personal and household use only unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commercial use, resale or redistribution is prohibited.
6. Safety
6.1. Acknowledgement: By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that they may contain small parts, detachable parts, and batteries. You confirm that you have reviewed and accepted this information during the checkout process.
6.2. Supervision: Adult supervision is recommended when children are using products that contain small parts, detachable parts, or batteries to ensure their safety.

The assembly process forms part of the educational experience and adult supervision is recommended where appropriate.
6.4 Product Assembly. Many STEMKids products are supplied in kit form and require assembly by the user. Packaging, instructions or documentation may refer to products as “kits”, “educational projects”, “assembly projects” or “non-finished products”. This terminology reflects the educational nature of the products and does not indicate a defect or incomplete order.
6.5 Safe Use. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used in accordance with the supplied instructions. Products should only be used by children within the recommended age range and, where appropriate, under adult supervision. STEMKids accepts no responsibility for injury, damage or loss resulting from misuse, modification, incorrect assembly or use contrary to the supplied instructions.
6.6 Age Recommendations. The age recommendations displayed on our website, packaging and product descriptions are intended as a guide to the level of skill, dexterity and understanding required to complete the project independently. Children below the recommended age may still be able to complete and enjoy the projects with appropriate adult assistance and supervision. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a particular project is suitable for the child based on their age, ability and level of supervision available.
6.7 Educational Outcomes. While STEMKids products are designed to support STEM learning and skill development, individual learning outcomes will vary depending on the child’s age, ability, level of engagement and supervision. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes or achievements.
7. Gifts and Prizes
7.1. Gifting: If you purchase our products as a gift or prize, please provide us with the relevant details, including the recipient’s name, address, and any special instructions. We will ensure that the gift is packaged and delivered accordingly.
7.2. Gift Messages: You may include a personalised message with your gift purchase. Please provide the message details during checkout, and we will include it with the delivery.
7.3. Gift Vouchers: We offer gift vouchers that can be purchased and used towards any of our products or subscriptions. When purchasing a gift voucher, please provide the recipient’s details, and we will send the voucher electronically or via mail as per your preference. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Disclaimer: Our products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
